The Manager of Client Services is responsible for supporting a team of volunteers. The most appropriate
Volunteers, Visiting Volunteers & Ambassador Volunteers

Visiting Volunteers

Volunteers are available to support people in their home, hospital, care facility or hospice and allow caregivers
some time for themselves.

Families we support may be experiencing a distressing and overwhelming time when a beloved family
member has a life threatening illness. Along with other services, we offer ongoing support where it is needed
most; supplementing family support.
Our volunteers are flexible and will try to accommodate the needs of the family.

Following the death of a client the volunteers can continue to provide bereavement support to the
caregiver/family until the family does not require support.  A volunteer can be put in place as soon as a life
threatening diagnosis has been made.
